Line Items from Invoices can be voided to cancel the invoice. Employees will always have access to void their own invoice; a Void Transactions permission can be given the user to void others' in the company.
Please Note: If you void and unvoid the line item, the unvoided line items will reappear in the Invoice Create page, where employee can edit and resubmit the invoice.
This article will show you to how void an invoice.
Step 1: Go to the Invoices tab.
Step 2: Under the Invoices section, click Manage Invoices.
Step 3: This is the Manage Transactions page. You can search your Invoices by.
- Invoice Number
- Vendor
- Product Description / SKU
- Amount
- Date Range
Step 4: Enter your search terms and click Search.
Step 5: The matching invoices will appear. To void the invoice, click Void.
Step 6: Click the checkboxes to the left of the line items to select them to void.
Step 7: Enter a Comments field. This is a required field to void the invoice.
Step 8: Click Void Invoice.
Step 9: A confirmation message will appear.
